The series CO2CELL, formerly called CYTOCELL, is suitable for research and growth of cell and other cultures and it is also frequently used in the IVF field. The unique system of the chamber and door heating eliminates the need of fan and thereby the samples contamination risk caused by vibrations and forced circulation of the atmosphere. The CO2CELL series allows the operation both in the CO2 atmosphere and/or both O2 and N2. The operation of the CO2CELL incubators is based on the smooth gravitational flow of the operation gas in the electrically heated chamber with high relative humidity and selected gas concentration. The units operation is noiseless. As a standard, protective CO2 atmosphere is used. According to the customer’s wishes, O2 or N2 can also be applied. CO2

Versatile Standard line with microprocessor control unit:

  • The Standard-line series is provided with a microprocessor control unit. Information on the process is displayed on a clearly arranged LED display. The control elements are located on a foil keyboard. The Standard-line displays the actual temperature and CO2 concentration in the chamber and is provided with a visual and acoustic alarm for easier watching of the process run. The function of the CO2 sensor is extended by an automatic programmable calibration, which simplifies the calibration process to a minimum of procedures executed by the operator. As a standard, the CO2CELL 48 incubator is provided with a seamless chamber. The special system of heated double door enables observation of the samples inside the chamber without disturbing the atmosphere inside the chamber.

High-tech Comfort line with multi-functional microprocessor control unit:

  • The Comfort-line series is provided with a microprocessor control unit. All information on the process, control and reports is displayed on a large LCD screen. There are several display and process modes available, e.g. the actual temperature and CO2 concentration in the chamber, the preset temperature and concentration, a display for the unit diagnostics during the process, process archive displaying the history of temperature and CO2 concentration course, list of all accessible alarm reports, on-line menu, etc. The control elements are located on a foil keyboard. The function of the infrared CO2 sensor is extended by a fully automatic programmable calibration that does not require any operator’s intervention. As an alternative, the Comfort-line can be provided with a program for chamber decontamination at the temperature of 120 °C or with a simple cooling system reaching 8°C below the ambient temperature. As a standard, the CO2CELL incubator is provided with a seamless stainless steel chamber. The special system of heated double door enables observation of the samples inside the chamber without disturbing the atmosphere inside the chamber.
